Animation Movie Night
Join us as we watch movies from one of our favorite animation studios on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. All ages are welcome. Curious about the animation studio, movie titles, or ratings? Call the library at 419-468-3203. Doors open at 5:45 pm, and all movies start promptly at 6:00 pm. Space may be limited, so please plan to arrive on time.
Kids' Winter Crafts
Children ages 5-12 are invited to drop in and create some winter-themed crafts. No registration is required. Tue, Jan 25th, 4:30-5:30pm and Tue, Feb 22nd, 4:30-5:30pm.
Family Movie Matinee
All ages are invited to join us for a newly released movie. No registration is required, but space may be limited. Bring a pillow and blanket and get comfy! Popcorn and drinks will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied.
Story Time
Join us for Story Time each week this fall, on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Story Time will be limited to 10 adults and their children. Only 1 adult per family, please. Because space is limited, we ask that you arrive slightly early. The Community Room will open for admittance at 10:15 am and will close when we have reached max capacity, or at 10:30, whichever occurs first. These restrictions are subject to change as needed.
Tree Decorating Contest
Families, organizations, businesses, and individuals of all ages are invited to enter our tree decorating contest. Trees may be submitted December 6-11. The public may vote for their favorite tree once daily from December 13-18. The 3 trees with the most votes will win prizes ($50, $35, and $25 Barnes & Noble gift cards). Requirements: Trees must be under 2 feet tall and able to stand up on their own. Living trees may be used, but must be in a pot or base. Trees may be created by someone else (artificial trees or craft base) but decorated by the entrants, or the entire tree may be handmade by the entrants out of any materials they choose. You may decorate using any theme you would like, but please keep it family-friendly. If you have any questions, please call 419-468-3203 and ask for the Children's Department.
